🎙️ 𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝟭: 𝗔𝗜 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝘀
In one of the 15 weeks, we introduced the concept of an AI Council for learning - a panel of custom AI personas designed to help students and/or teachers problem-solve, make better decisions, and surface blind spots in their thinking. For our first episode, we're joined by two guests who took that concept and built their own versions:
𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻'𝘀 "𝗔𝗜 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀": A teacher and learning designer in California who built a portfolio of AI councils - from a wizard's council where one member wants to fireball every problem, a Diamond Dogs council for Ted Lasso fans, to a Jedi council his son built to manage Lego overload at home. Underneath the whimsy: serious grounding in backwards mapping and cognitive friction.

𝗕𝗼𝗯 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆'𝘀 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁: A curriculum specialist at Lawrence Hall of Science (UC Berkeley) who built a workflow tool for teachers to generate their own AI Councils from existing lesson plans. Locally-sourced human experts via IP-based search, plus serious K-12 safety choices.
